Described by BBC Radio 3's Sara Mohr-Pietsch as a brilliant trio of sensational singers, Voice are Victoria Couper, Clemmie Franks, and Emily Burn. In their nineteen years singing together, they have built a dedicated fan-base across the world and have honed a truly unique sound.
Hildegard Transfigured celebrates the remarkable composer, scientist, theologian, and Benedictine nun, Saint Hildegard, in a collage of music and visuals. Drawing on antiphons from The Harmony of the Symphony of Celestial Revelations, the trio explores the transcendent purity of Hildegard's music alongside revealing miniatures setting her words by Laura Moody.
“Unfolding in a seamless hour of vocal intensity and visual kaleidoscopes, Hildegard Transfigured celebrated the 12th-century polymath’s visionary heights. The singing by this trio of sirens (Victoria Couper, Clemmie Franks and Emily Burn) was transfixing. Perhaps it was the late hour or the temperature in the church, but I was ‘en-tranced’ in all the best senses of the word.” Opera Today review 2023
